Rocky Point/Arizona’s Beach – Puerto Peñasco, Mexico

Travel Recommendations: Puerto Peñasco, Mexico (Rocky Point, Mexico)

Length of Stay

We stayed three nights and it felt like the perfect length of stay. Just enough time to really relax

Transportation

You can pretty much drive your car wherever you want to go but it can get confusing not knowing the area and the random stop signs. Cabs are readily available to take you where you need to go. It pretty much costs $20 to get from your resort to...

Why Travel is Good for You

Travel!

I think everyone should travel to a different country at least once in their lifetimes. I truly believe you learn so much about yourself, how to manage stressful situations, and how to interact with other cultures—all of which can be applied to your everyday life and work life. You also learn to appreciate where you come from.

Appreciating Where You Come From

In 2015, my husband and I traveled to Vietnam. We were a little nervous about the...

City of the Seven Towers – Lübeck, Germany

Travel Recommendations: Lübeck, Germany

Length of Stay

The city of Lübeck is pretty small, you probably only need one full day to check everything off your list. However, the area is quite lovely and would recommend a couple days.

Transportation

We walked to every place we wanted to see. There is public transportation that includes bus and a light rail.

Lodging

Besides a few hiccups, I would recommend renting a flat. The area is easy to get around...

The City of Parks – Malmö, Sweden

Travel Recommendations: Malmö, Sweden

Length of Stay

One full day is all you need here. The city is not very large so one full day will probably suffice. Be mindful of opening time. Things didn’t seem to open until 11 AM.

Transportation

The city is quite walkable with plenty of public transportation.

Lodging

We did not stay the night in Malmö but think an Air BnB/rental would be lovely.

Clothing

Be prepared for it to rain any day....

Pearl of the Danube – Budapest, Hungary

Travel Recommendations: Budapest, Hungary

Length of Stay

Budapest is a very large city but you can definitely fit most of the tourist destinations in 2 days. I would say 3 if you want to go into more museums or experience more ruin bars.

Transportation

The city is easy to get around by foot but they also have several options for public transit. Be careful getting a cab. We were told they will charge you way more than what the ride should cost.

City of Churches – Adelaide, Australia

Travel Recommendations: Adelaide, South Australia, Australia

Length of Stay

I would recommend at least two to three full days to visit Adelaide (depending on what you want to do). You can check out the city in a couple hours and visit the local beach. This should also give you enough time to check out the wine country.

Transportation

There is a bus system and a few light rail/rail lines. However, compared to other cities it doesn’t seem as accessible via...
